It is a ready-to-use mixture of demineralised water combined with cleaning concentrate in an optimum ratio, carefully formulated to deliver outstanding cleaning performance without compromising your records.
Alcohol-Free and Eco-Friendly Formula
Unlike many record cleaning fluids, Wash it 2 contains no alcohol, which means it will not harm or degrade vinyl record surfaces over time. The formula uses only high-purity components that are 100% eco-friendly, non-toxic, and non-flammable, making it safe to handle and store at home. The fluid is suitable for both vinyl and shellac records, dissolving a wide range of impurities including fat and grease deposits.
Leaves Zero Residue
Once applied and vacuumed away by your record cleaning machine, Wash it 2 evaporates quickly and leaves absolutely no residue on the record surface. This ensures your stylus tracks a clean groove, free from contamination, helping to preserve both your records and your cartridge. For best results, use at an ambient temperature of between 20 and 40 degrees Celsius.

The fluid has been specifically optimised to work with Pro-Ject vacuum record cleaning machines such as the VC-S3, VC-E2, and the broader Vinyl Cleaner series. Its formulation ensures maximum lifetime of vacuum motors by avoiding any deposits or film build-up within the machine. It is supplied in a convenient 500ml bottle, ready to use straight from the bottle with no dilution required.
