The Pro-Ject Speaker Box 10 E Carbon is a slim floorstanding loudspeaker within the Speaker Box E series, positioned above the bookshelf Speaker Box 5 E and intended as a reference-grade floor-standing option for the Box Design ecosystem. Pro-Ject specifically recommends partnering it with the MaiA S3 or DS3 integrated amplifiers, though its 10-150W power handling makes it suitable for a broad range of hi-fi amplifiers.
Driver Configuration
The speaker uses a 2-way bass-reflex configuration with a rear-firing port. The tweeter is a 1-inch silk dome, paired with two 4-inch carbon fibre composite bass/midrange drivers. The dual-woofer arrangement contributes to the rated frequency response of 48Hz to 20kHz, with a sensitivity of 87dB at 1W/1m. Nominal impedance is 4 ohms.
Cabinet and Finish
The slim, tall MDF cabinet measures 935 x 140 x 190mm (H x W x D) and is finished in a walnut wood veneer. There are no visible fixing screws on the front baffle. Magnetic speaker grilles (in black) are included. Gold-plated banana terminals are fitted at the rear. Each speaker weighs 7.93kg.
