The Pro-Ject RPM 5 Carbon replaces the award-winning RPM 5.1 with improvements across technology, sound and cosmetics. The low-resonance MDF plinth is finished with premium-quality gloss and topped with carbon fibre for added rigidity, sitting on three adjustable spiked feet to keep resonance away from the record surface.
The thick acrylic platter is acoustically inert, driven by a fully detached 9 V AC motor with an ultra-precision DC-driven AC generator. Supplied with the outstanding 9CC Evolution tonearm featuring a 9-inch one-piece carbon fibre tube and inverted bearing design. A screw-on record clamp is also included.
