The Pro-Ject E1.2 is a plug-and-play entry-level audiophile turntable that brings serious hi-fi engineering to an accessible price point. Handmade in the Czech Republic, it combines a 730g die-cast aluminium platter, a CNC-machined aluminium tonearm, and the Pick it MM E moving-magnet cartridge, all factory-adjusted and ready to play straight from the box.
The heavy die-cast aluminium platter is precision-balanced for perfectly even rotation and provides an ideal anti-resonant platform for your records. The tonearm features a high-mass gimbal bearing with zero play, an oversized counterweight positioned close to the pivot for improved tracking accuracy, and is pre-set at the factory, so there is no need for any tools or adjustments. Electronic speed change between 33 and 45 RPM is handled without lifting the platter belt.
The MDF plinth has no hollow spaces to eliminate unwanted resonances, and four damping feet decouple the turntable from the surface beneath it and reduce the risk of acoustic feedback. A dust cover is included as standard. The E1.2 is available in High Gloss Black, Satin White, and Walnut.
