The APEX-THREE is the three-tier build of Forged Audio's APEX modular stand system, combining the APEX-50 base platform with the 250 and 200 upper modules. It gives you three full-width positions for the heart of a separates system, and because the best rack is one you can't hear, everything about the APEX is designed to stay out of the way and let your equipment do its job.
Shelves designed to dissipate
Each shelf is a 620 × 400 × 36 mm board made from two bonded plies of bamboo. The bond line between the plies acts as a mechanical energy break, so a single shelf carries two independent dissipation mechanisms, and bamboo's naturally random internal fibre geometry spreads vibration broadly rather than resonating at a single frequency. The four Ø38 mm posts per tier are solid steel, not hollow tube and not aluminium. They anchor the structure and channel energy down through the supplied isolation spikes and floor discs. The bamboo absorbs. The steel anchors. Between them, vibration has nowhere to go.
Three tiers, arranged for separates
The tiers arrive arranged for a classic setup: 280 mm of clearance above the base shelf for a larger amplifier that needs ventilation, 230 mm for an integrated amplifier or CD player, and an open top shelf that suits a turntable or streamer. Because APEX is fully modular, you can rearrange the order, or add a fourth tier later, whenever your system changes.
Details that work both ways
A sculpted edge groove on each shelf works as a rear cable channel or a forward styling detail, and there is 500 mm of clear width across the front of every tier. Bamboo grain is unique to each shelf, so no two APEX racks are the same. Built to disappear. Designed to last.
