Construction & Materials
At its core, the Rocket 11 uses Semi-Solid Concentric Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors. Long-Grain Copper features fewer grain boundaries and lower oxide content than standard OFHC copper, reducing the signal distortion that occurs at each grain junction. The semi-solid concentric packing maintains fixed geometric relationships between individual strands, which AudioQuest states significantly reduces the dynamic distortion caused by strands shifting under signal.
Geometry & Noise Control
The Rocket 11 employs Double Spiral-Pair Geometry, in which the two conductors in each half of the cable are twisted around one another. This spiral arrangement lowers inductance compared to conventional parallel-conductor layouts, contributing to greater clarity and more extended bass-to-treble frequency response. All conductors are direction-controlled for RF-noise management — the cable is marked to indicate which end connects to the amplifier and which to the speaker.
