The WiiM Sub Pro is a wireless smart subwoofer designed to extend a stereo or home cinema system with deep, low-distortion bass that reaches down to 25 Hz. It pairs wirelessly with WiiM streamers and amplifiers over the home network, and an RCA mono input lets it work with any third-party amplifier, AV receiver, or soundbar that has a subwoofer output.
Driver and Amplification
An 8-inch (203.2 mm) custom woofer is driven by a 250W Class-D digital amplifier in a sealed cabinet. The frequency range covers 25 Hz to 200 Hz with a tolerance of plus or minus 3 dB from 30 Hz, and total harmonic distortion plus noise stays below 1%. Sensitivity is rated at 104 dB SPL at 1W/1m.
RoomFit Auto-Calibration
RoomFit room correction uses the WiiM Home app to measure the listening environment and adjust bass output to suit the room size, speaker placement, and listening position. A 10-band parametric EQ, adjustable crossover frequency, phase control, latency adjustment, and subwoofer level controls are all accessible from the app.
Connectivity
The Sub Pro supports Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio, and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet for a wired network connection. The single wired audio input is an analogue RCA mono jack, intended for use with a 75-ohm mono RCA cable.
Cabinet and Use
The minimalist sealed cabinet measures 399 x 301 x 322 mm and weighs 16 kg. A four-colour LED on the front shows status. The sub enters standby automatically when no signal is detected, helping to manage standby power consumption. Power is supplied via a universal 100-240V AC, 50/60 Hz input.
