The WiiM Sound Lite sits in the heart of WiiM's wireless speaker range, positioned above the entry-level Amp-based systems and designed as a complete, self-contained loudspeaker that brings together a high-resolution audio engine, AI-driven room correction, and the openness of the WiiM multiroom platform in a single compact form. This twin pack supplies two Sound Lite units in White, ready to configure as a true left/right stereo pair.
Acoustic Architecture
Each Sound Lite is built around a 2-way driver complement comprising a 4-inch paper-cone long-throw woofer and two 1-inch silk-dome tweeters, crossed over at 2.4 kHz. A 100W peak amplifier drives the array, delivering a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz. The combination of a long-throw woofer and dual tweeter arrangement allows each driver to be independently tuned for its frequency band, lowering distortion while preserving dynamics across the range.
AI RoomFit Room Correction
AI RoomFit is WiiM's automatic and assisted room calibration system, available directly in the WiiM Home app. It measures acoustic conditions in the listening space and applies speaker-level EQ corrections to compensate for the room's effect on bass and tonal balance. The app also exposes a full parametric EQ with factory presets and custom settings, with independent EQ profiles for Wi-Fi/Ethernet, Bluetooth, and Aux inputs.
Hi-Res Streaming and Connectivity
Audio resolution extends to 24-bit/192 kHz with gapless playback. Network connectivity uses Wi-Fi 6E (802.11 b/g/n/ax, tri-band 2.4/5/6 GHz), offering reduced interference on the 6 GHz band where available. A 100 Mbps Ethernet port is fitted for wired network connections. Bluetooth 5.3 supports SBC, AAC, and LC3 codecs and operates in both receiver and transmitter modes.
Open Streaming Platform
The WiiM Home app provides control across iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Apple TV, and Google TV. The Sound Lite accepts streams from Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Alexa Cast, DLNA, Roon, and LMS. Voice control works with Alexa and Google Assistant via compatible devices. The speaker can join WiiM, Google Cast, and Alexa multi-room groups simultaneously.
True Stereo Pairing
When two Sound Lite units are grouped in the WiiM Home app, they form a true left/right stereo pair. This twin pack is supplied as a matched pair in White, ready for stereo setup out of the box. The pair can be expanded further by adding a WiiM Sub Pro or by incorporating additional WiiM components as centre or surround channels for a home cinema configuration.
Design and Power
The Sound Lite's cylindrical enclosure is covered in a fabric grille over a glass and polycarbonate rear panel. Physical controls on top of the unit allow volume and playback management without the app. Power is via a universal 100-240V AC supply with energy-efficient standby, and firmware updates are delivered over the air.
