The WiiM Sound Lite is the more affordable of WiiM's two compact smart speakers, sitting alongside the larger WiiM Sound. It pairs WiiM's network streaming platform with a self-contained two-way speaker, offering high-resolution playback and AI-assisted room correction in a small fabric-wrapped enclosure intended to drop into any room of the house.
Acoustic Design
A precision two-way crossover splits the signal between a 4-inch paper-cone long-throw woofer and dual 1-inch silk-dome tweeters, each tuned independently for low distortion and rich detail. Total peak output is 100W (50W to the woofer, 25W to each tweeter), with a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz and a crossover point at 2.4 kHz.
AI RoomFit Room Correction
WiiM's AI RoomFit technology measures the speaker's acoustic environment and applies automatic or assisted tuning to balance bass, vocal clarity and detail for the specific room and placement. Advanced EQ controls in the WiiM Home app provide presets and custom adjustment, with separate EQ profiles stored for Wi-Fi/Ethernet, Bluetooth and Aux inputs.
Streaming and Connectivity
Hi-Res playback is supported up to 24-bit/192 kHz with gapless transition between tracks. Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 6E across 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands and Bluetooth 5.3 with bidirectional support and SBC, AAC and LC3 codecs. Wired options are 100 Mbps Ethernet and a 3.5mm Aux input.
The Sound Lite is open by design, working as an endpoint for the WiiM Home app, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Alexa Cast, DLNA, Roon and LMS. It joins WiiM, Google Cast and Alexa multi-room groups, and pairs with a second unit for true left/right stereo or with WiiM Sub Pro for extended bass.
Voice Control and App
Voice control works through compatible Alexa or Google Assistant devices. The WiiM Home app runs on iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Apple TV and Google TV. Physical capacitive controls on the top of the speaker manage playback locally; there is no display or remote, keeping the form factor minimal.
