The WiiM CI MOD S is a slim audiophile-grade network streamer designed for custom installation, sitting alongside the larger CI MOD A80 streaming amplifier in the WiiM CI line. Built for integrators, the unit measures just 140 x 140 x 42 mm and runs from a USB-C 5V supply, allowing it to be hidden inside racks, cabinets, or behind a fixed install.
Audiophile DAC and Hi-Res streaming
An AKM AK4493SEQ DAC handles digital conversion, supporting bit-perfect playback up to 24-bit/192 kHz. WiiM quotes 120 dB signal-to-noise ratio and 0.00032% THD+N, with a full set of analogue and digital outputs allowing the streamer to feed an integrated amplifier, a separate DAC, or a DSP processor. Streaming protocols include Chromecast Audio, DLNA, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Amazon Music Casting, Qplay 2.0, and Roon Ready, and the WiiM Home app integrates the major streaming services including Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Deezer, TuneIn, and BBC Radio.
