Solid Steel HS-3 Hi-Fi Rack (Gloss Black)

The Solid Steel HS-3 is a three-shelf hi-fi rack from the Italian manufacturer's Hyperspike range, designed for compact, high-performance audio systems. The HS series uses a distinctive three-pillar tripod geometry rather than the conventional four-leg arrangement, reducing physical contact with the surrounding environment and simplifying levelling on uneven floors.

Hyperspike Vibration Control

At the heart of the HS series is Solid Steel's Hyperspike Vibration Free System. The three stems are constructed from solid stainless steel (INOX) rods, polished to a refined finish. Each pillar incorporates rubber o-ring isolators at the shelf interfaces, designed to minimise the transmission of mechanical energy between shelves and through the frame. Adjustable decoupling spikes with clamping mechanisms allow precise levelling, while stainless steel floor pads protect hard flooring surfaces.

Construction & Capacity

The HS-3 provides three MDF shelves, each rated to support up to 80 kg of equipment. The shelves are finished to complement the frame and sized to accommodate full-width hi-fi components. The modular frame design allows the HS series to be configured in different shelf counts — the HS-3 suits systems built around a source, amplifier, and one additional component, while larger configurations are available for more extensive systems.
