Solid Steel HS-2 Hi-Fi Rack (Gloss Black)

The Solid Steel HS-2 is a two-shelf hi-fi rack from the Italian manufacturer's Hyperspike series, designed for minimalist, high-performance systems where a source component and amplifier are the only equipment to house. Its three-pillar tripod configuration uses geometrically positioned stainless steel (INOX) stems to provide maximum structural support while minimising physical contact with the surrounding environment.

Hyperspike Construction

The pillars are machined from solid steel rod and finished with a precision polishing process that produces a smooth, reflective surface. Each pillar incorporates the Hyperspike Vibration Free System — a proprietary arrangement of rubber O-rings, functionally similar to piston rings, fitted around the modular central segment. These O-rings improve the mechanical fit between segments while reducing the transmission of vibration energy through the frame.

Adjustable insulating spikes with locking clamping screws sit at the base of each pillar, allowing precise levelling on uneven floors. Decoupling pads, also manufactured from solid steel, are included for use on hard flooring where spike penetration is not desired.

Shelves & Load Capacity

The two MDF shelves each support up to 80 kg, comfortably accommodating heavy integrated amplifiers and large-format source components. The inner shelf clearance of 305 mm provides adequate ventilation space for components that generate significant heat during operation.

Finish Options

The HS-2 is available in three finishes: Flat Black, High Gloss Black, and High Gloss White. The High Gloss Black finish provides a deep, reflective surface with a contemporary aesthetic.
