The Roksan Attessa Integrated Amplifier sits at the centre of the Attessa Series 1G range, positioned between the Attessa CD Transport and the Attessa Streaming Amplifier. Where the Streaming Amplifier adds BluOS network streaming, the Integrated Amplifier is designed for listeners who prefer to use their own source components or stream via Bluetooth, keeping the signal path shorter and the chassis focused on amplification and analogue-to-digital conversion.
Amplification
The amplifier section is built around Roksan’s Euphoria amplification architecture, delivering 2 × 80 W into 8 ohms and 2 × 130 W into 4 ohms, both channels driven simultaneously with THD+N below 0.1%. Power is drawn from a 400 VA toroidal mains transformer. The class A/B output stage is designed to maintain composure across a wide range of loudspeaker loads, from efficient standmount monitors to more demanding floorstanding designs.
Digital Section
Digital-to-analogue conversion is handled by Roksan’s Rapture DAC technology. Four digital inputs are provided: two coaxial SPDIF connections (D1 and D4) supporting up to 24-bit / 192 kHz, and two optical SPDIF connections (D2 and D3, the latter labelled TV) supporting up to 24-bit / 96 kHz. A dedicated TV input simplifies connection to a television’s optical audio output for use as the audio hub in a living room system.
Analogue Inputs and Phono Stage
Two line-level RCA inputs (A1 and A2) accommodate analogue source components such as CD players or network streamers. Input A2 includes signal-sense capability and an AV Mode for integration with a surround-sound processor. A built-in moving magnet (MM) phono stage with RIAA equalisation allows direct connection of a turntable without the need for an external phono preamplifier.
Wireless Connectivity
Bluetooth audio input supports the A2DP profile with SBC, AAC and aptX codecs, providing wireless playback from smartphones, tablets and laptops at up to 48 kHz / 16-bit resolution. Typical wireless range is 15 metres. The Attessa also supports over-the-air firmware updates via Wi-Fi, ensuring the amplifier can receive feature and performance improvements after purchase. Setup and configuration are managed through the MaestroUnite app for iOS and Android.
Outputs and Control
Speaker binding posts serve the main loudspeaker pair, while an RCA pre-out / subwoofer output allows connection of an active subwoofer or a separate power amplifier. A 3.5 mm headphone jack delivers 7.5 Vrms for private listening. System integration is supported via a 12 V trigger input and a wired IR input, both on 3.5 mm mini-jack connectors. The front-panel Dynamic Control Dial provides haptic feedback for volume and input selection, and a remote control is included.
Construction
The chassis is constructed from formed plated steel with an anodised aluminium front panel, available in Black and Silver finishes. The amplifier measures 432 × 76 × 373 mm (W × H × D including the control dial and rear connections) and weighs 10.37 kg.
