Roksan Attessa 1G CD Transport Silver

The Roksan Attessa 1G CD Transport is a dedicated disc transport designed to sit within Roksan’s Attessa Series 1G — the brand’s entry point into high-fidelity separates. Positioned alongside the Attessa Integrated Amplifier and Attessa Streaming Amplifier, the CD Transport completes the series as a pure digital source component, outputting an unprocessed digital signal for conversion by an external DAC or compatible Attessa amplifier.

Transport and Output

The Attessa CD Transport handles CD and CD-R discs in Red-book audio format, delivering a 16-bit/44.1kHz digital stream via a single SPDIF coaxial output. By omitting internal digital-to-analogue conversion entirely, the transport delegates all analogue processing to a dedicated DAC or amplifier with a built-in DAC stage, keeping the signal path within the unit as short as possible.

Construction

The chassis is formed from plated steel, providing a rigid enclosure. The front panel is machined from anodised aluminium, giving the unit a precise, finished appearance consistent with the rest of the Attessa 1G range. The transport weighs 6.1 kg.

Controls and Connectivity

Five buttons on the front panel cover standby, eject, previous track, play/pause, and next track. An infrared remote control is included for full playback control from the listening position. The unit also incorporates Bluetooth Low Energy for device selection and power control via the MaestroUnite companion app, which provides system setup, advanced configuration, and over-the-air firmware updates delivered through a Wi-Fi connection.

System Integration

The Attessa CD Transport is designed for integration with the Attessa Integrated Amplifier and Attessa Streaming Amplifier. All three components share the same industrial design language — aluminium front panel finish and cohesive aesthetic — allowing them to form a visually unified system. The transport can equally be paired with any DAC or amplifier equipped with a coaxial digital input.
