The QED Connect USB C to Micro B Cable sits within QED's Connect range — a series of affordable, well-built cables designed to deliver reliable performance without the premium price tag of QED's Performance and Reference tiers. The Connect range covers HDMI, optical, subwoofer, speaker and USB cables alongside a selection of audio and video adaptors, all sharing a consistent build quality and design language.
Construction
At its core, the Connect USB C to Micro B uses 99.99% oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors for reliable signal transfer. The cable is USB 2.0 compliant, providing a straightforward data and charging link between a USB-C source device and a legacy Micro-B peripheral — useful for connecting modern smartphones, tablets or laptops to older DACs, portable audio players or external drives that still use the Micro-B connector.
The satin black PVC jacket has a slim 4.0 mm outer diameter, making it ultra-flexible and easy to route in tight spaces. Each end is terminated with custom-moulded 24K gold-plated QED plugs, designed for a secure, noise-free connection and long-term reliability.
Design
Like all QED Connect cables, the USB C to Micro B arrives in minimal, fully biodegradable packaging — part of QED's commitment to reducing environmental impact across the range. The cable is designed in the UK.
