Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept payment by Paypal or credit card. The credit cards we accept are Visa, Mastercard and AMEX.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping and Handling
Items are shipped according to weight.
Lighter items will be shipped by registered or special delivery.
Larger, heavier items are dispatched using a courier service. This is normally a 24-48 hour service. The Carrier service will require a signature upon receipt for proof of delivery and can deliver between 8am and 7.30pm on the day of delivery.
If the carrier can not deliver the item because no-one is home to receive the order, they will leave a card with a contact number detailing how to arrange a more convenient delivery date. If the carrier receives no contact from you they will return the package to us after a period of approximately 5 working days. This may result in extra shipping costs being incurred for redelivery.
All orders over £75 are shipped free to a UK address. UK orders up to £75 incur a £3.99 shipping charge.
A shipping charge will be made for other available countries according to weight. Starting at £22.50 for each box up to 25kg.
Full payment is required prior to dispatch.
Orders are generally delivered within 1-5 business days to a UK address.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Purchases include VAT at 20%.
Credit Card Security
No credit card details are stored anywhere by us.
We accept credit card & debit card payment. We only accept payment in £-GBP
All goods are covered by a full manufacturers warranty and in the event of your equipment becoming faulty, contact us and we will arrange to have it repaired under the terms of the warranty.

We have a dedicated demo facility in our offices where we will be more than happy to set up the items you want to hear. If you want to try out your kit along with ours please bring it along.

These terms relate solely to consumer products being traded-in as part payment for the supply of items from our store (physical or on-line) to an individual consumer
Any product that is approved by us as being acceptable and eligible for a Trade-in will have a value as determined by us at our sole discretion. Trade-in values / amounts may vary depending on the condition and type of product.
The Trade-in value of a product can either be put towards a credit note, a gift voucher or they can be used in full or part against a new purchase, with any balance (if any) of the trade-in value being converted to a credit note or gift voucher.
A trade-in value in full or part cannot be given as a cash refund.
At the time of trade-in the customer confirms they are the sole owner of the product. Upon receipt and acceptance of the product by us, title of ownership in the product transfers to Quantum AV from the customer and the customer disclaims any further right, title or interest in and to the product.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found here.
If your goods should develop a fault within 14 days of receipt we would normally exchange the item. In instances where a replacement product is not available we would offer a refund. Any refund will include any UK delivery or UK collection charges.
Please return the product to us with the original packaging and all accessories. Please ensure all goods are adequately packed and insured when shipping back to us. We reserve the right to offset any cost incurred in damage to the unit or replacing missing remote controls and accessories.
If your product should develop a fault outside 14 days of receipt and within the warranty period we will arrange to repair the item. The warranty does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse.
If the product is found not to be faulty it is likely that you have either bought the wrong product or that it is not compatible with your equipment. In this case we would treat the return as a return of non faulty goods as described below.
Non Faulty Goods - Excluding Custom Made Products e.g. Cut Lengths of Speaker Cables or All Cables Over 3 Metres
If you decide within 14 days of receipt of a product that you do not want to keep them then they can be returned to us for a refund or replacement with an alternative product.
When the product is received we will check it to make sure that it is in good condition. If this is the case then we will refund your card.
Non Faulty Goods - Goods Made to Consumers Personal Specifications e.g. Cut Lengths of Speaker Cables
Some of our products we offer will have to be made to your personal requirements. Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns where these products are not faulty. This relates in particular to speaker cables which all have to be cut from a reel to your personal requirement or longer lengths of other cables (over 3 metres) which are made to order.
How to Return to Us
It is your responsibility to ensure that returned goods actually get back to us so we suggest that you use the signed recorded 2nd class mail service. For larger items we suggest you use a courier service such as at www.interparcel.com. If you use a more expensive service and we are re-imbursing the postage cost we will not re-imburse more than the recorded 2nd class mail cost. If in any doubt please contact us prior to sending.
If the goods are not faulty the cost of returning them is your responsibility. Outside of the first 30 days the cost of returning goods is your responsibility.
