The QED Connect Phono to Phono Cable sits within QED's Connect range, an affordable lineup of cables and adaptors designed in the United Kingdom. This stereo interconnect provides a straightforward connection between any components with RCA phono outputs and inputs, making it suitable for linking turntables to phono stages, CD players to amplifiers, or any source component to a receiver. The 0.75m length is the shortest available in the Connect Phono to Phono range, suited to compact hi-fi installations where components are positioned close together.
Construction
The cable uses 99.99% oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors, which reduce signal-path resistance and minimise the oxidation that degrades connections over time. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is used as the dielectric material for improved signal integrity.
Each end terminates in a pair of custom-moulded, 24K gold-plated phono connectors. The gold plating ensures low contact resistance and long-term corrosion resistance, while the custom-moulded housings incorporate channel identifier markings to simplify left/right connection during setup. The outer jacket is a 4mm outside-diameter PVC construction with a satin black finish, designed to be ultra-flexible for easy routing in tight spaces behind hi-fi furniture.
Packaging
The QED Connect Phono to Phono Cable arrives in minimal, fully biodegradable packaging, reflecting QED's commitment to reducing environmental impact across their product range.
