The Q Acoustics 5010 5.1 Plus Cinema Pack brings the award-winning 5000 Series into a complete home cinema system built around the compact 5010 bookshelf speakers. Sitting below the larger 5040-based package in Q Acoustics' cinema range, the 5010 system is designed for rooms where space is at a premium but performance cannot be compromised. The pack includes four 5010 bookshelf speakers for the front left, front right, and surround channels, the 5090 centre speaker for dialogue, and the Q SUB 120 active subwoofer for low-frequency reinforcement.

C³ Continuous Curved Cone Driver Technology

At the heart of every speaker in the 5000 Series is the C³ Continuous Curved Cone mid/bass driver. This proprietary cone geometry combines the bass performance benefits of a traditional straight conic profile with the high and mid-range frequency control of a flared cone, delivering excellent dispersion alongside a well-controlled frequency response and reduced harmonic distortion. The drivers are paired with substantial magnets and large voice coils, providing a 50% increase in power handling compared to comparable 25.4mm voice coil designs.

Tweeter & Cabinet Engineering

The high-frequency driver in each satellite speaker is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the front baffle, protecting it from internal cabinet pressure and resonances. This sealed construction reduces distortion through careful venting. The cabinets themselves feature Q Acoustics' Point-to-Point (P2P) internal bracing, which stiffens the enclosure to minimise lower-frequency vibrations while focusing stereo imaging and improving the soundstage. Each baffle is finished with a layer of butyl rubber and black acrylic trim, providing additional damping and a clean aesthetic with no visible fixings.

5010 Bookshelf Speakers

The 5010 is a two-way bookshelf speaker featuring a single 110mm C³ mid/bass driver and a 25mm sealed dome tweeter. With a frequency response of 56Hz–30kHz (−6dB), 86.3dB sensitivity, and a nominal impedance of 6Ω, the 5010 is an easy load for any AV receiver rated between 15 and 90 watts per channel. Each speaker measures 264 × 160 × 263mm and weighs 5.6kg. Four 5010 speakers are included in this pack, covering the front left, front right, and both surround positions.

5090 Centre Speaker

The 5090 centre channel uses a two-way, three-driver configuration with dual 110mm C³ mid/bass units flanking a central 25mm sealed dome tweeter. This arrangement delivers 90.5dB sensitivity and a frequency response of 57Hz–30kHz (−6dB), with a recommended amplifier power of 25–150W. The 5090 weighs 8.5kg and measures 164 × 430 × 243mm.

Q SUB 120 Active Subwoofer

The Q SUB 120 is a sealed infinite-baffle subwoofer built around a 305mm (12-inch) paper cone driver with rubber surround. The 18mm MDF enclosure features a 36mm double-thickness front baffle, driven by a 300W continuous (600W peak) Class D amplifier reaching down to 28Hz. A continuously variable low-pass crossover (40–250Hz) allows seamless integration with any AV receiver, complemented by DSP-controlled adjustable phase and delay, and automatic source detection. The Q SUB 120 measures 400 × 400 × 432mm and weighs 22.5kg.
