Seven-inch singles present a different cleaning challenge to full-size albums. The shorter radius of a 7-inch record means that the standard 12-inch vacuum arm cannot position its suction slot over the groove area correctly. The VC-S 7 Vacuum Arm Set resolves this by providing a purpose-built arm sized for the smaller format, ensuring optimised cleaning efficiency across the entire record surface.

The set includes the 7-inch vacuum arm itself and a pair of short self-adhesive velvet strips. The velvet strips attach to the arm to form the contact surface between the arm and the record, capturing lifted debris and cleaning fluid as the machine operates. Replacement velvet strips are available separately when the originals wear.
