The kit replaces the standard motor mounting and drive components with higher-quality parts, reducing unwanted vibration and improving the precision of speed transfer from motor to platter.
What's Included
- Aluminium pulley – replaces the standard plastic pulley for more precise belt drive
- Rubber drive belt – a fresh, correctly tensioned replacement belt
- Rubber grommets (x2) – isolate the motor from the plinth to reduce vibration
- Screws (x2) – for securing the motor with the grommets in place
Installation
Fitting is straightforward and requires no specialist tools. The two rubber grommets are placed under the motor at the mounting points, the screws secure the assembly, and the aluminium pulley replaces the existing unit. The new belt is then fitted in the usual way. Full fitting instructions are included with the kit.
