The Pro-Ject Record Puck S is a mid-range record clamp designed to improve the contact between your vinyl and the turntable platter. Machined from aluminium and finished in a polished silver, it complements the aesthetic of Pro-Ject's own turntable range while delivering a genuine improvement in playback performance.
By pressing the record firmly against the platter, the Record Puck S reduces micro-vibrations and unwanted movement during play. The result is a more stable, controlled sound with improved timing, better bass definition and greater depth of image, particularly noticeable on warped or slightly cupped records.
Thoughtfully Designed
Weighing 315 grams, the Record Puck S strikes a sensible balance between effective clamping pressure and bearing-friendly mass. It is suitable for most belt-drive turntables, including smaller and lighter models, without placing undue stress on the spindle bearing. A protective felt mat on the underside guards the record label from scratching during use.
Before fitting, always check that the combined height of your record and spindle does not exceed 10.5mm; if it does, the Record Puck S will not seat correctly and should not be used.
European Manufacture
Like all Pro-Ject accessories, the Record Puck S is made in Europe to the brand's usual exacting standards. It is available in polished silver and black (painted aluminium) finishes.
