The Pro-Ject Juke Box E1 is a complete all-in-one turntable system that combines a belt-drive record player, built-in phono stage, Bluetooth receiver, line pre-amplifier and 2 × 50W Class D power amplifier in a single CNC-machined wood chassis. Sitting within Pro-Ject's Juke Box range, the E1 succeeds the five-star What Hi-Fi? Award-winning Juke Box E with a reworked tonearm design, a new anti-resonant ABS polymer sub-platter and electronic speed switching between 33 and 45 RPM — removing the need to manually move the drive belt.
Turntable & Tonearm
At the heart of the Juke Box E1 is a belt-driven motor with a precision silicone drive belt turning a 300mm anti-resonant ABS polymer platter supported by a stainless steel spindle in a bronze bushing. The pre-set 8.6-inch aluminium tonearm uses sapphire bearings and comes factory-fitted with an Ortofon OM 5E cartridge featuring an elliptical diamond stylus. Tracking force and anti-skating are pre-adjusted at the factory, so the E1 is ready to play straight out of the box with no setup required.
Built-in Amplification & Connectivity
The integrated 2 × 50W Class D amplifier drives a pair of passive speakers directly — no separate amplifier or receiver is needed. A built-in phono stage handles the turntable signal, while a Bluetooth 2.1 receiver (SBC codec) lets you stream music wirelessly from a phone or tablet. An additional analogue line input accommodates a second source such as a CD player or streamer. Outputs include speaker terminals, a fixed line output carrying only the record signal, and a dedicated phono output for connecting to an external amplifier.
Design & Usability
The CNC-machined chassis is available in four finishes — high-gloss black, high-gloss white, high-gloss red and walnut — and sits on isolating non-slip feet to minimise vibration transfer. A high-contrast digital display on the front panel shows the current input and volume level, and an included IR remote control provides full system control from the listening position. A removable dust cover is included.
