The Pro-Ject Control It 1 is a compact, pre-programmed universal remote control designed as a replacement and upgrade for the standard infrared remotes supplied with Pro-Ject's Box Design series of hi-fi components. It is particularly suited to users who have multiple compatible Pro-Ject components and want a single, modern handset to control them all.
Compatibility
The Control It 1 is compatible with a wide range of current and recent Pro-Ject Box Design products, including the CD Box S, S2, S3, DS, DS2 T and DS3 models; the MaiA S2, S3 and DS3 integrated amplifiers; the Stereo Box S, S2 (BT), S3 BT, DS, DS2, DS3 and RS; and the Pre Box DS and RS preamplifiers. Note: the mute button is not active on S, S2, DS and DS2 RS devices, and S3 and DS3 models may require a firmware update to enable muting functionality.
Design
The handset is slim and lightweight at 70g, measuring 150 x 40 x 15mm. It requires two AAA batteries, which are not included. Its modern design matches the aesthetic of the Box Design range and replaces the older Pro-Ject standard IR remotes with a more capable and ergonomic alternative.
