The Pro-Ject Connect it Power 15V is a high-conductivity power interconnect cable designed for use with Pro-Ject Power Box accessories and compatible Box Design components. It replaces the standard power connections supplied with Power Box units, and this 1.85m version is the longest length Pro-Ject offers, suited to racks where the Power Box and the component it feeds sit several shelves apart.
Compatibility
This 15V variant uses 2.1mm DC barrel connectors at both ends. Pro-Ject lists it for the Power Box S2, Power Box S3 Phono, Power Box DS/DS2/DS3 Sources and the MaiA DS, and for its turntables with a 15V DC supply. The same 2.1mm cable also serves 20V and 24V Pro-Ject products. For the RPM 9/10, Xtension 10/12 and Signature 10/12 turntables, Pro-Ject specifies the Connect it Power RS TT 15V MiniXLR to 2.1 cable with a Power Box RS uni instead, because of their higher power consumption.
Construction
The cable is a high-conductivity design with improved shielding, magnetically shielded for an optimal connection. Pro-Ject states that the resulting optimised power transmission allows an ultimate level of audiophile performance to be reached. Offering the cable in individual lengths also avoids the cable clutter that comes from using one standard length throughout a system.
