Pro-Ject Connect it LS RS Speaker Cable
The Connect it LS RS is Pro-Ject's premium reference speaker cable, featuring four 0.75mm² solid core conductors made from high-purity OCC copper. OCC (Ohno Continuous Casting) copper is produced using a vertical vacuum continuous casting technique that yields ultra-purified crystal copper wire with an exceptionally long crystal structure, minimising grain boundaries that can degrade signal quality.
The twisted solid-core construction reduces interference and noise in signal transmission. Unlike conventional litz-type speaker cables, where electrical, mechanical and magnetic interactions between strands introduce coloration and distortion, the Connect it LS RS eliminates inter-strand interference entirely for a clear, open sound presentation with ultra-low distortion.
The defining feature of the LS RS is its right-angle (RS) banana plugs: rhodium-plated copper connectors with a carbon-isolated housing. The right-angle format is particularly suited to installations where speakers or amplifier binding posts are close to a wall, preventing cable stress and allowing a neat, flush routing. Rhodium plating provides superior corrosion resistance and very low contact resistance compared to gold plating, contributing to the cable's reference-grade performance.
Supplied as a stereo pair in 3m length, the Connect it LS RS is compatible with any amplifier and speaker combination that accepts banana plug terminations.
