The Connect it LS E sits at the entry level of Pro-Ject's Connect it cable range, designed to complement the brand's turntable and hi-fi system bundles with a ready-to-use stereo speaker cable set.
Construction
Where conventional litz-construction speaker cables twist together many fine strands, this can introduce electrical, mechanical and magnetic interaction between the strands, causing low-level distortion and signal degradation. The Connect it LS E avoids this entirely by using a solid-core design: each run is built from four 0.75 mm² solid-core conductors made from high-purity oxygen-free copper (HP-OFC), twisted together to control interference. The conductors are insulated in polyethylene and enclosed in a transparent PVC jacket, with colour-coded red and black sheaths identifying the positive and negative runs for each channel.
Connectors
Each end is fitted with Pro-Ject's LS E banana plugs: 4 mm diameter metal plugs with a transparent plastic housing and a gold-plated contact surface to ensure clean, low-resistance electrical connection. The transparent body allows the cable termination to be inspected visually, and the colour-coded ring on each plug (red for positive, black for negative) makes installation straightforward.
Performance
The combination of solid-core HP-OFC conductors and gold-plated contacts results in a neutral, coherent sound presentation with smooth high-frequency delivery. The Connect it LS E is supplied as a complete stereo set, pre-configured at 3 metres per run, ready for immediate installation.
