The Pro-Ject Connect it Line E RCA is Pro-Ject's entry-level analogue stereo interconnect, sitting at the base of the Connect it E cable range. Designed to pair with Pro-Ject turntables, CD players, and streaming components, it provides a clean, low-loss signal path at an accessible price point.
Construction
The cable uses a 99.99% OFC (oxygen-free copper) conductor in a 2 x 0.2mm² construction, chosen for its ability to transmit the full signal without degradation. The polyethylene dielectric minimises capacitive loss, and a tin-plated copper braid shield reduces electromagnetic interference. The transparent PVC jacket shows the braided shielding beneath and keeps the cable visually unobtrusive.
Connectors
Both ends use gold-plated brass RCA connectors housed in a machined metal barrel. The gold plating resists oxidation and maintains a reliable, low-resistance connection over time. Standard left-channel white and right-channel red colour coding is used throughout.
Semi-Symmetrical Design
The Connect it Line E RCA uses a semi-symmetrical topology: the cable shield is connected at one end only, which helps to prevent ground loops. A yellow marker band on one end of the cable indicates the receiving (amplifier) side, always connect the yellow-marked end to the amplifier input to take advantage of this design.
Available Lengths
The Connect it Line E RCA is available in three lengths: 0.41m, 0.82m, and 1.23m, making it suitable for both tight component-stacking setups and slightly more spread-out rack configurations.
