Pro-Ject's Colourful Audio System 2 is a carefully matched, all-European hi-fi package built around three award-winning components. The Debut EVO 2 belt-drive turntable, the MaiA S3 streaming micro amplifier, and the Speaker Box 5 S2 bookshelf speakers are selected and finished to work together as a complete vinyl stereo system — with everything you need to get started included in the box.
The Black Satin finish ties all three components together visually, while the engineering behind each piece ensures the system punches well above its price point. Every component is assembled in Europe, reflecting Pro-Ject's long-standing commitment to sustainable, high-quality manufacturing.
Debut EVO 2 Turntable
At the heart of the system sits the Debut EVO 2, an evolution of Pro-Ject's most popular turntable design. Its 8.6” carbon fibre tonearm is mounted in a precision aluminium bearing housing, delivering a rigid yet low-mass arm tube that extracts fine detail from every groove. Electronic speed change between 33 and 45 rpm removes the need to manually move the drive belt, and the included Pick it MM EVO moving magnet cartridge outputs a high 7mV signal for excellent compatibility with phono stages.
MaiA S3 Streaming Amplifier
The MaiA S3 is a remarkably compact amplifier that delivers 2×23W into 8Ω and 2×40W into 4Ω — more than enough headroom for the Speaker Box 5 S2 or most bookshelf speakers. It includes Bluetooth streaming for wireless playback from a phone or tablet, a 6.3mm headphone output for private listening, and a subwoofer pre-output for optional bass extension. A compact remote control is included, and standby consumption is under 0.5W.
Speaker Box 5 S2 Bookshelf Speakers
The Speaker Box 5 S2 is a two-way bookshelf speaker with an 8Ω nominal impedance and a driver complement chosen for musical accuracy. A 25mm soft dome tweeter handles the high frequencies with refinement, while a 130mm fiberglass cone mid-bass driver provides full-bodied mids and controlled bass. The Black Satin lacquer cabinet matches the turntable and amplifier exactly, and speaker grills in black are included.

The system ships complete: Debut EVO 2 with Pick it MM EVO cartridge, 15V DC power supply, dust cover, 78rpm belt, and 7” adapter; MaiA S3 amplifier with remote control and power supply; Speaker Box 5 S2 speakers (pair) with black speaker grills; Connect it LS E high-quality speaker cable (2×3m, four 0.75mm² solid-core conductors); and a set of Damp-It isolation feet to acoustically decouple the speakers from the turntable surface.
