The Pro-Ject Adapt It is a precision-machined aluminium adapter for playing 7-inch single records on any turntable. Positioned at the entry level of Pro-Ject’s accessories range, it addresses a straightforward but important problem: a standard turntable spindle is too narrow for the large centre hole of a 7-inch single, meaning the record cannot sit centrally without an adapter.
Construction
The Adapt It is CNC-machined from non-magnetic aluminium and finished in a silver anodised coating. The machined tolerances ensure the record sits precisely centred on the platter, eliminating the off-centre playback that results from using a loose or ill-fitting adapter. At 38 mm in diameter and 10 mm in height, it is compact and adds negligible mass to the platter.
Compatibility
The Adapt It is compatible with all brands and types of record players that use a standard spindle. It is available in two aluminium finishes, black and silver, as well as a separate acrylic version.
