Ultra-Slim On-Wall Performance
The Paradigm Millenia LP 2 is designed to disappear against the wall while delivering the high-resolution audio performance that Paradigm is known for. At just 44 mm (1¾″) deep — including the integrated wall mount — it slips behind any flat panel without impeding floor space or compromising aesthetics. Designed and engineered at Paradigm's facility in Canada in collaboration with the National Research Council (NRC), the LP 2 is ideal for left/right stereo placement flanking a television, or expanded to a multi-channel configuration with a third unit as a centre channel.
S-PAL High-Frequency Driver
At the heart of the LP 2's treble performance is a 25 mm S-PAL (Satin-Anodized Pure-Aluminium) dome tweeter. Ferro-fluid damping and cooling maintains precise voice coil geometry under high power, while a wide-dispersion architecture with integrated phase ring ensures smooth, even off-axis response — critical for on-wall placement where the listener may not be precisely centred. The tweeter is housed in a rigid mineral-filled ABS chassis with a protective perforated aluminium mesh screen guard.
Bass and Midrange Drivers
Two 114 mm anodized unibody bass/midrange cones handle everything below the 2.6 kHz crossover point. Each driver features 37 mm high-temperature aluminium voice coils wound on Nomex spiders, Nitrile-Butadiene rubber surrounds for long-throw compliance, and neodymium magnet motor assemblies — delivering the excursion required for a convincing bass foundation from a cabinet that is just 25 mm deep at its shallowest point. Steel heatfin baskets dissipate motor heat to maintain linearity at sustained output levels.
Passive Radiators for Extended Bass
Rather than a traditional port, the Millenia LP 2 uses two 114 mm passive radiator cones with precision-tuned resonance systems. This approach allows the LP 2 to reach 75 Hz extension in a sealed, low-profile cabinet with no risk of port chuffing — a practical advantage when the speaker is wall-mounted in a living environment.
Finish and Mounting
The moulded high-gloss polymer enclosure with brushed aluminium accents provides a sophisticated, furniture-friendly appearance. Included stands allow the LP 2 to be used free-standing on a surface as an alternative to wall mounting, providing installation flexibility without additional purchase.
