The Loewe Bild i 55 occupies the middle tier of Loewe's premium Bild range — positioned between the 48-inch and 65-inch models in the same series. It pairs a 55-inch WRGB OLED panel with Loewe's proprietary SL7 chassis and NT7 processor, running the VIDAA smart television platform. The result is a television that combines genuine engineering ambition with the restrained, minimalist aesthetic that defines Loewe's approach to home entertainment.
The Bild i 55 is available with three distinct mounting configurations — a compact table stand, a tall floor stand, or as a panel suitable for wall mounting — giving it unusual flexibility in how it integrates into a living space without changing the television itself.
Picture Performance
At its heart, the Bild i 55 uses a WRGB OLED panel delivering 4K Ultra HD resolution. OLED technology produces true blacks by switching individual pixels off completely, eliminating the backlight bleed that affects LCD alternatives and enabling the exceptional contrast and colour depth that OLED is known for. The NT7 processor handles all picture processing tasks, applying Loewe's image optimisation algorithms to streaming, broadcast, and connected source material alike.
HDR support covers HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision — the three formats most widely used by streaming services and physical media. Dolby Vision Gaming is also supported, though maximum gaming refresh rate is limited to 60Hz via the four HDMI 2.1 inputs; 4K at 120Hz is not supported on this model.
Connectivity and Audio Return
All four HDMI ports conform to the HDMI 2.1 specification at 18Gbps bandwidth. Each supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR at 48–60Hz) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). The eARC-equipped port enables lossless Dolby Atmos audio to be passed to a compatible soundbar or AV receiver over a single cable. An optical digital output provides an alternative connection for audio equipment. Loewe also offers its own 'Klang' soundbar as a companion product.
Smart TV and Recording
VIDAA provides the operating environment, offering access to integrated streaming services alongside broadcast television. The DR+ feature includes a built-in hard drive for recording live television directly to the set — eliminating the need for an external recorder. The television manages scheduling and playback natively within the VIDAA interface.
