The KEF RIF3160L is a steel rough-in frame designed for multi-speaker rectangular installations using three KEF 160mm Ci-series speakers in a single cutout. Installed during the pre-wiring stage of a new construction or renovation project, the RIF3160L allows the installer to reserve the correct space in the ceiling and provides a clean, accurate cutout guide for a seamless multi-speaker array.
The frame is installed before plasterboard or other ceiling material is applied, so that when the time comes to fit the speakers, the cutout is already in place. This approach eliminates the guesswork of on-site measurement and helps protect speaker positions during the building phase.
The RIF3160L is compatible with KEF Ci3160RL and Ci3160RLb 3x160mm rectangular Ci-series in-ceiling speaker arrays.
