The KEF RIF130S is a steel rough-in frame (also known as a new construction bracket) designed for use with KEF 130mm square in-ceiling speakers. Installed during the pre-wiring stage of a new construction or renovation project, the RIF130S allows the installer to reserve the correct space in the ceiling and provides a clean, accurate cutout guide — simplifying installation and delivering a professional finish.
The frame is installed before plasterboard or other ceiling material is applied, so that when the time comes to fit the speaker, the cutout is already in place and the speaker drops in precisely. This approach eliminates the guesswork of measuring and cutting on-site and helps protect speaker locations during the building phase.
The RIF130S is compatible with KEFs range of 130mm square Ci-series in-ceiling speakers, including the Ci130QS, Ci130CS, Ci130.2QS, and Ci130.2FS.
