Uni-Q Driver Array Technology
At the heart of the Ci130ER is KEF's signature Uni-Q driver array. This concentric driver design places a 16mm aluminium dome tweeter at the acoustic centre of the 130mm mid/bass cone, allowing both drivers to radiate sound from precisely the same point in space. The result is an exceptionally wide and even sound dispersion across the listening area, eliminating the sweet-spot limitations of conventional driver layouts and ensuring every seat in the room benefits from a coherent, detailed soundstage.
Ultra-Thin Body for Simplified Installation
The Ci130ER features KEF's Ultra-Thin Body (UTB) design, which reduces the overall installation depth to just 81mm. This shallow profile makes it compatible with ceilings and cavities where a full-depth speaker would be impractical, including rooms with limited void depth or those with acoustic insulation already in place. The mounting system accommodates ceiling thickness from 6mm to 33mm, and the 158mm circular cutout suits standard installation templates. A paintable magnetic grille and bezel allow the speaker to blend seamlessly into any interior.
Weather-Resistant Construction
The Ci130ER is rated for use in moisture-rich environments, making it suitable for bathroom and kitchen installations where humidity and temperature fluctuations are unavoidable.
