FiiO
FiiO was founded by James Chung, who had previously worked at OPPO. The brand name combines Fi, drawn from HiFi, with iO, representing the binary digits of digital audio, reflecting the company's mission to bring genuine high-fidelity sound to portable digital devices.
FiiO's first product was the PS1120, a dock speaker for the Meizu MP3 player. The company grew by developing portable DAC and headphone amplifiers before expanding into high-resolution digital audio players, in-ear monitors, Bluetooth DAC/amp devices, and desktop components. FiiO products have received industry awards including the iF Design Award, Red Dot Award, EISA Award, and VGP Award, and the company adheres to ISO9001 quality management standards.
Today FiiO produces a broad portfolio of portable and desktop audio equipment, from compact USB DAC dongles and wireless earphones to flagship digital audio players and reference-grade desktop DAC/amplifier units. Products are sold through a global network of authorised distributors.
