The LT-TC5 is FiiO's fifth-generation USB-C to USB-C data and charging cable, sitting within the company's range of digital audio accessories designed for use with FiiO DACs, portable amplifiers, digital audio players, and other USB-C devices. It replaces the LT-TC3 in FiiO's line-up and brings an updated braided construction alongside compatibility with modern high-current charging standards.
Cable Construction
The LT-TC5 uses a pure copper conductor wrapped in a durable braided nylon outer sleeve. The braid provides both abrasion resistance and a degree of flexibility that makes the cable practical for portable use alongside a DAC/amp or digital audio player. At 150cm, this L variant is suited to desktop use or to connecting devices where more cable run is needed.
Charging and Data
The cable incorporates an E-mark chip, which allows it to identify itself to compatible USB-C chargers and unlock 5A charging current at USB Power Delivery voltages. This makes it suitable for fast-charging devices as well as for data transfer via USB 2.0. The USB 2.0 specification is sufficient for lossless audio streaming to external DAC and amplifier devices.
Connector Build
Both connectors are USB-C, with robust strain-relief boots where the cable meets the plug bodies. The connectors are compatible with the full range of FiiO USB-C devices including the BTR series Bluetooth DAC/amps, the KA series portable DAC/headphone amplifiers, and the M series digital audio players, as well as any standard USB-C equipped computer or mobile device.
Available Lengths
The LT-TC5 is offered in three lengths: 10cm (S), 80cm (M), and 150cm (L), making it possible to choose the appropriate length for portable or desktop use scenarios.
