Black Rhodium Rhythm RCA Interconnect Cable (1m Pair)

The Rhythm sits within Black Rhodium’s mid-range interconnect lineup, offering a meaningful step up from the entry-level INTRO series. Designed and manufactured in England, it uses silver plated copper conductors throughout — both for the signal path and the screening braid — delivering improved clarity across the midrange and high frequencies whilst maintaining strong, controlled bass.

Construction

The Rhythm uses 19x0.2mm² stranded silver plated copper conductors, chosen for their ability to carry high-frequency detail with minimal signal degradation. The inner insulation is high quality PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), which Black Rhodium subjects to an exclusive post-production treatment process. This treatment is designed to allow a faster, clearer signal path and a smoother sound that is less prone to harshness.

Screening is provided by a silver plated copper braided shield, offering superior RFI rejection to reduce background noise and maintain signal purity. The direction of the internal wiring is controlled during production — a quality control step that Black Rhodium credits with delivering superior stereo imaging and further reducing the noise floor.

Termination

The cable is terminated with Black Rhodium’s hourglass silhouette RCA phono plugs. The shaped barrel makes the connectors easier to grip when inserting and removing from tightly spaced rear panels, while the plug design is engineered to maintain reliable contact and consistent performance over the life of the cable.
