Description
The Black Rhodium INTRO Mains Power Cable is the entry point to the Black Rhodium power cable range, designed to supply mains current from a UK 13A socket to hi-fi and AV components fitted with a standard IEC inlet. It is intended as a straightforward upgrade to the moulded leads supplied as standard with most audio equipment.
A large ferrite core, 28mm in length, is fitted along the cable to attenuate radio frequency interference that can be conducted through mains wiring into sensitive audio components. The cable runs inside a woven expandable braid outer sheath, which provides additional vibration damping and a more substantial appearance than a standard kettle lead.
The INTRO Mains Power Cable is terminated with a UK 13A flat pin plug at one end and a moulded IEC connector at the other, ready to use with integrated amplifiers, power amplifiers, CD players, DACs, streamers and AV receivers. The cable is manufactured in the United Kingdom by Black Rhodium at its factory in Derby.
