AudioQuest Saturn GroundGoody Ground Wire (1m Single)

The AudioQuest Saturn GroundGoody sits in the middle of AudioQuest's GroundGoody range of RF-dissipating ground wires, above the entry-level models and below the ThunderBird and Dragon. It is designed to convert any analogue RCA interconnect cable into a complete, low-distortion tonearm cable by providing a dedicated, high-quality ground path between turntable and amplifier.

PSC+ Conductor

The Saturn GroundGoody uses a solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductor. AudioQuest's Perfect-Surface technology draws and anneals the copper to minimise grain boundaries and surface imperfections in the metal, reducing distortion at the conductor level. The result is a ground path that AudioQuest describes as delivering an astonishing reduction in grit and grain compared to generic ground wires.

Noise-Dissipation System

Like all GroundGoody models, the Saturn incorporates AudioQuest's Noise-Dissipation System (NDS). The conductor is direction-controlled to drain RF noise away from the signal path rather than allowing it to circulate. Metal layers within the cable's construction absorb and dissipate radio-frequency interference before it can reach the audio signal carried by the paired interconnect.

Termination

Both ends are terminated with Direct-Silver plated U-spade lugs sized for standard turntable and amplifier ground terminals. The silver plating ensures a low-resistance, corrosion-resistant connection at the contact points.

System Integration

The Saturn GroundGoody pairs with any AudioQuest RCA interconnect to form a complete tonearm cable. It can also be used independently to connect a turntable's ground terminal to an amplifier's earth post, or with a ground box for broader system noise reduction. The braided black and blue jacket distinguishes the Saturn visually within the GroundGoody range.
