Overview
The Anthem Statement M1 is a monoblock power amplifier, designed to drive a single loudspeaker channel from a compact, single-rack-height chassis. Built in Canada by Anthem Electronics, it pairs an enormous power reserve with a footprint far smaller than conventional high-power amplifiers, making it well suited to both two-channel hi-fi and multichannel home theatre installations where one M1 is used per channel.
Class D Power
At the heart of the M1 is a Class D output stage running in a balanced bridge-mode configuration using MOSFET power transistors. This topology keeps the output isolated from ground and lowers ripple, while delivering 1000W into 8 ohms and 2000W into 4 ohms, rising to 2400W into 3 ohms. The result is effortless dynamics and tight control of demanding loudspeaker loads.
Thermal Design
An internal heat-pipe cooling system carries heat away efficiently, so several M1 units can be stacked together without fans or large external heatsinks. This makes the M1 practical for building multichannel power amplifier racks in a confined space.
Connectivity
Both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA inputs are provided, along with a 12V trigger for system integration and selectable on modes for automatic or manual operation. Heavy-duty binding posts handle the high output current.
