The TITAN is XGIMI's premium 4K home cinema projector, announced at IFA in September 2025 as the brand made its move into high-end home projection. Built around a dual laser light source and a large 0.78 inch DMD imaging chip, it is rated at 5000 ISO lumens: bright enough for a properly cinematic picture in a dedicated room, and with enough output in reserve to cut through ambient light in a living room setting.
Picture Quality
XGIMI pairs the 0.78 inch HEP imaging chip with its first self-developed 4K AI processor, which enhances every frame in real time for sharper detail, optimised contrast and true-to-life colour. The dual laser engine achieves a claimed dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 and covers 150% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. HDR support is unusually comprehensive, taking in Dolby Vision, HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode, and MEMC motion processing is built in. Gamers are catered for with a 15ms input latency at 1080p/240Hz, and the TITAN also supports full HD 3D playback, a feature rarely found in ultra-bright projectors.
Installation
XGIMI's Automated Lens Shift Module was engineered in-house to remove the usual friction of projector installation, particularly for ceiling-mounted setups. A single command integrates auto focus, auto keystone correction and motorised lens shift, with a vertical shift range of plus or minus 100% and a horizontal range of plus or minus 40%. The 1.2-1.8:1 throw ratio and optical zoom produce an image from 60 up to 250 inches, with front, rear and ceiling projection all supported, and intelligent screen alignment and eye protection are built in. A desktop stand is included in the box, and the projector runs quietly at 32dB or less.
Connectivity and Sound
The TITAN has no built-in smart TV operating system; it is designed as a dedicated display device, with sources connected over its two HDMI inputs, one of which supports eARC. USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, wired LAN, RS232 and a wired remote input support custom installation, while WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are on board. Audio runs through twin 12W speakers with Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD and DTS Virtual:X support, and optical and analogue audio outputs are provided for feeding an external sound system.
