XGIMI MoGo 4 Portable Smart Projector

The MoGo 4 is the LED model in XGIMI's latest generation of portable smart projectors, launched in 2025 alongside the step-up MoGo 4 Laser and following on from the popular MoGo 3 Pro. It packs a Full HD picture, Google TV streaming and a built-in battery into a cylinder around the size of a coffee thermos, making it one of the most convenient ways to take a big screen anywhere: from the living room wall to the ceiling above your bed, or out to the garden and beyond.

Design and Portability

Weighing just 1.31kg, the MoGo 4 is built around a 360 degree universally adjustable stand, so the whole body tilts and rotates to project onto any surface from floor to ceiling. XGIMI's ISA technology automatically aligns the image wherever you point it, with uninterrupted auto keystone correction and uninterrupted autofocus keeping the picture sharp and square without fiddly manual set-up. A scratch-resistant cover protects the lens in transit, while a magnetic infrared mini remote clips onto the body so it never goes missing; a full backlit Bluetooth remote is also included.

Picture Quality

At its heart is a 0.23 inch DMD DLP display with an LED light source, delivering a 1920 x 1080 Full HD image at 450 ISO lumens with HDR10 support and 90 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. The 1.2:1 throw ratio produces an image from 40 up to 200 inches, with 60 to 120 inches the recommended range for the best results. A Game Mode with latency as low as 20ms at 1080p/60Hz makes it a fun partner for a games console too.

Google TV Streaming

The MoGo 4 runs Google TV with licensed Netflix on board, alongside access to thousands of apps including all the major streaming services. Casting is supported via Google Cast and DLNA, with dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 handling connectivity. Physical connections include an HDMI input with ARC support, a USB-A port for media playback and a USB-C port for charging with PD 3.0 compatibility.

Sound and Ambience

Dual 6W Harman Kardon speakers with Dolby Audio, Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus support give the MoGo 4 a genuinely capable voice for its size, and it doubles as a standalone Bluetooth speaker. Ambient Light Mode adds a soft glow that can move with the music, while the included magnetic Sunset creative filter transforms any room with a warm sunset wash; three further filters are available separately.

Built-in Battery

The 71.28Wh battery delivers up to 2.5 hours of video playback in Eco Mode, or up to 6 hours of music streaming, and recharges over USB-C. For longer sessions, the optional PowerBase Stand extends movie playback to around 5 hours while raising the projector to the perfect height.
