The Halo+ (New) is the current generation of XGIMI's Halo+ portable smart projector, updated with Google TV in place of the original model's Android TV platform. Part of XGIMI's portable projector range, it combines Full HD DLP projection, Harman Kardon sound and a built-in battery in a chassis that moves easily between rooms, gardens and campsites.
Google TV Built In
Google TV and the Google Play Store give direct access to more than 5,000 apps, including Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video, so streaming works straight out of the box without a separate stick or box. Casting is supported via GoogleCast and DLNA, and XGIMI backs the platform with up to four years of over-the-air software updates covering feature improvements, system optimisations and security updates.
Full HD Picture
A DLP light engine with a 0.33in DMD chip and an LED light source rated for 25,000 hours produces a 1920 x 1080 Full HD image at 700 ISO lumens, with HDR10 and HLG support. With its 1.2:1 throw ratio the Halo+ (New) projects an image from 40in up to 200in, with 60in to 120in the recommended range for the best picture quality.
Automatic Setup
XGIMI's Intelligent Screen Adaption (ISA) technology handles setup automatically: auto focus, auto keystone correction, intelligent screen alignment and intelligent obstacle avoidance adjust the picture within seconds of start-up. Digital zoom resizes the image without moving the unit, and front, rear and ceiling projection modes are all supported.
Take It Anywhere
The built-in 59.454Wh battery delivers 2.5 hours of video playback, enough for a full film away from the mains, or 5 hours of music playback. At 171.5 x 113.5 x 145mm and 1.6kg, it packs easily for camping trips, garden cinema nights or moving from room to room.
Sound by Harman Kardon
Twin 5W Harman Kardon speakers handle Dolby Audio, Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus soundtracks, and a 3.5mm headphone output is on hand for private listening or connection to an external system.
Gaming and Connectivity
In Game Mode the Halo+ (New) achieves input latency of 27ms or lower at 1080p/60Hz with auto keystone disabled, making it a capable big-screen gaming display. HDMI with ARC support connects consoles and set-top boxes, alongside a USB port for local media, dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1. A Bluetooth remote control with batteries, a power plug, a manual and a warranty card are included in the box.
