The Wharfedale Linton is a Heritage Series recreation of a classic 1965 model, entirely re-engineered using contemporary techniques. This three-way bookshelf speaker maintains the vintage aesthetic whilst delivering modern performance standards.
The substantial wood-veneered cabinet features hand-matched veneers in a rich Walnut finish. Matching stands with rigid metal frames and wood-veneered panels are included, with storage space for vinyl records built into the stand structure. The three-way driver array comprises a 200mm Kevlar bass driver with die-cast chassis, a 135mm Kevlar midrange driver housed in its own internal enclosure, and a 25mm fabric-dome tweeter with high-flux ferrite magnet.
Praised by What Hi-Fi, Hi-Fi Choice, Hi-Fi World, and Stereophile for its musicality and refined sound, the Linton delivers deep, well-defined bass alongside clear and open midrange performance.
