Composed by Ramin Djawadi, this is the official soundtrack to Season 2 of HBO's critically acclaimed science fiction series Westworld. Released by Music On Vinyl, this limited edition pressing features a curated selection of 13 tracks from the full 29-piece score, pressed on 180-gram Shogun Green coloured vinyl and limited to just 2,000 copies worldwide.

The Music

Djawadi's score for Season 2 expands the sonic palette of Westworld considerably. With the introduction of Shogunworld and The Raj, the composer reimagines well-known songs through new cultural lenses — the Rolling Stones' "Paint It, Black" is reinterpreted with shakuhachi flute and taiko drums, the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" receives a sitar-driven arrangement, and Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box" is rendered as a sweeping orchestral piece. Wu-Tang Clan's "C.R.E.A.M." and Kanye West's "Runaway" also feature as instrumental reinterpretations. Alongside these adaptations, the selection includes original compositions such as "Akane no Mai" and "Take My Heart When You Go", as well as an arrangement of Radiohead's "Codex".

This is the Music On Vinyl release (catalogue number MOVATM221), pressed on 180-gram Shogun Green coloured vinyl. It is a limited edition of 2,000 individually numbered copies. The record is housed in a glossy picture sleeve with a credit and photo insert, supplied in a hype-stickered PVC outer bag.
