Some products carry a Trade-In Guarantee. Where one does, and we accept your trade-in, the offer we make will not be less than the guaranteed amount shown when you started your request. You see the figure on the product page and in your basket, before you commit to anything.
The amount is fixed at the moment you start your request, so it cannot drop underneath you while we review your items.
The guaranteed amount is the floor on our offer, not the ceiling. If your item is worth more than the guarantee, we will offer more. Where the guarantee applies and we accept your trade-in, we will not offer less.
Your trade-in does not have to match what you are buying. It needs to be a kind of product we sell, and not one of the items we cannot accept for trade-in, which are listed in the terms below.
If your basket holds more than one guaranteed product, the amounts add up, including across quantities. We expect one qualifying item for each.
We record the guaranteed amount against your request when your basket is saved. Later price changes on the website do not alter it.
The guarantee assumes your items arrive complete, working, and in the condition you described. If they do not, the usual revised-offer process applies.
Guaranteed products are marked with a Trade-In Guarantee badge on the product page and in listings. Your basket still needs at least £500 of new-condition items to start a trade-in.
Your basket and the guaranteed amount are saved against the request at that moment. You will see the figure restated while you describe your items.
Tell us the make, model, age, and condition, and add photos if you can. The more detail you give, the smoother the review.
Usually within one working day. If we accept your trade-in, the offer will be at least the guaranteed amount.

It is your choice which benefit you take. If your basket carries a voucher code, a bundle, or a free gift, we will tell you in the basket and you can remove it to claim the guarantee instead.
The guarantee sets the size of an offer. It does not oblige us to make one. We may still decline a request, for the same reasons we may decline or cancel any order:
If we decline, nothing is lost: you can still buy the items in your basket at the normal price for 7 days. We may also withdraw or change a guarantee on any product at any time, and that never affects a request you have already started.

The guarantee applies to any item of a kind we sell, provided it is not one of the items we do not accept for trade-in (clause 2). Your trade-in does not have to match the product you are buying. The guaranteed amount is a minimum and not a maximum, and we may offer more. Where your basket contains more than one guaranteed product, the guaranteed amounts add together, and we expect one qualifying item for each.
The guarantee assumes your items arrive complete, working, and in the condition you described. Clauses 5 and 6 continue to apply.
We may still decline a trade-in request, for the same reasons we may decline or cancel any order, including stock becoming unavailable, suspected fraud, or an item we are unable to accept. We may also decline items that cannot be transported safely, including items without their original packaging that are likely to be damaged in transit, and items that need special handling because of their size or weight. If we decline, you may still buy the items in your basket at the normal price for 7 days.
A Trade-In Guarantee cannot be combined with voucher codes, bundle deals, or free gift promotions. Free warranty offers are not affected.
We may withdraw or change the guarantee on any product at any time. Any change does not affect a request you have already started.

The Trade-In Guarantee forms part of our Trade-In Terms and Conditions. Guaranteed products are not currently being offered. Requests already started keep the guarantee they were given.
