Tellurium Q

Tellurium Q is a British cable manufacturer registered in England and based in Somerton, Somerset. The company was founded by Geoff Merrigan, whose background in industrial chemistry and materials science forms the basis of its approach to cable design. Rather than following conventional audiophile cable methodologies, Tellurium Q grounds its development in research into the nature of electrical signals, physical phenomena, and materials.

A central element of Tellurium Q's philosophy is the attention paid to phase relationships within an audio signal. Geoff Merrigan developed a mental-simulation technique drawing on his materials science knowledge to model cable behaviour before physical prototyping. Prototypes are developed in collaboration with Simon Lomax, whose listening assessments guide the refinement of each product.

The Tellurium Q range spans speaker cables, interconnects in RCA, XLR, DIN, and digital formats, USB cables, power cables, jumpers, and accessories. The lineup is organised into distinct families — including the Black, Silver, Ultra, and Statement tiers — to serve different system requirements. The brand is manufactured in Britain and has received awards from publications including HiFi Plus, Stereonet, The Ear, and Mono and Stereo.
