Where the single-band model transmits on 2.4 GHz alone, the Tri-Band version adds 5.2 GHz and 5.8 GHz operation and automatically switches between all three bands in real time, maintaining an uninterrupted audio signal regardless of competing wireless traffic from Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth devices, wireless security cameras, and other sources.

The adapter transmits LFE (low-frequency effects) or full-range stereo audio at 16-bit/48 kHz — CD-quality resolution — over a range of up to 40 metres (130 feet) line of sight. This extended range, double that of the single-band model, makes it well suited to larger rooms or open-plan spaces where a subwoofer or powered speaker must be positioned well away from the source component. Setup takes minutes: connect the transmitter to your AV receiver or amplifier via the included RCA cables, pair the receiver at the subwoofer or powered speaker end, and transmission begins automatically.
