The SVS SoundPath RCA Audio Interconnect Cable is an engineered solution for connecting stereo audio components with minimal signal degradation. Built around 56-strand 99.999% OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) tinned copper conductors, the cable maintains ultra-low capacitance of 39 pF/m — a critical parameter for preserving high-frequency detail and transient accuracy across longer cable runs.
A five-layer dielectric insulation system with 7 mm PVC core surrounds each conductor, rejecting radio-frequency interference (RFI) before it can compromise the signal path. The outer shield — 56 individual strands wrapped in an aircraft-grade aluminium shell — provides additional electromagnetic shielding, keeping the signal free from environmental interference between components.
Terminations use 24K gold-plated brass conductor pins, which resist oxidation and ensure a consistently low-resistance contact at each connection point. The result is a cable that transmits the full bandwidth of an analogue audio signal with the fidelity and consistency that SVS system components are designed around.
Supplied as a stereo pair (L and R channels), the SoundPath RCA interconnect suits connections between source components, preamplifiers, and stereo amplifiers, as well as dedicated subwoofer-to-amplifier signal runs. Available in lengths from 1 m to 15 m.
