The SVS Prime Wireless Pro Soundbase sits at the heart of SVS's Prime Wireless Pro range, serving as an integrated streaming amplifier that transforms any pair of passive loudspeakers into a fully connected, multi-room audio system. Delivering 300 watts RMS of Class D amplification — 150 watts per channel into 4 ohms — it provides ample headroom for driving a wide variety of speaker loads with clarity and control.

Amplification & Audio Quality

At its core is a 192kHz/24-bit DAC capable of handling high-resolution audio files, ensuring that streaming sources are processed with the full detail they contain. The Class D amplifier topology keeps the unit compact while delivering a signal-to-noise ratio of 90dB, providing a clean, low-noise floor suited to high-sensitivity speakers.

Connectivity

The Soundbase offers a comprehensive array of inputs covering analogue and digital sources. HDMI eARC integration allows connection to a television for seamless system audio, whilst Optical Toslink and Analogue RCA inputs accommodate legacy source equipment. A 3.5mm auxiliary jack provides a straightforward connection for portable devices. Bluetooth 5.0 with both AAC and aptX codec support enables low-latency wireless audio from smartphones and tablets.

On the output side, a dedicated subwoofer output allows the addition of a subwoofer for extended low-frequency reproduction, whilst an Analogue RCA line output and a 3.5mm headphone jack provide further flexibility.

Wireless Streaming

The Soundbase supports an extensive suite of wireless streaming protocols. Apple AirPlay 2 enables direct streaming from Apple devices and integration into Apple's multi-room ecosystem, whilst Chromecast built-in provides equivalent functionality for Android users and Google Cast-enabled applications. Spotify Connect allows direct playback from the Spotify service without requiring a phone or tablet to remain active as a relay. DTS Play-Fi support extends multi-room audio capability across compatible DTS Play-Fi devices throughout the home.

Control & Interface

A 3.15-inch OLED display on the front panel provides clear readout of volume levels and track information. The included IR remote features six user-programmable presets for rapid access to favourite music sources. Voice control is supported via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri, enabling hands-free operation when integrated with compatible smart home setups.
